Kaczowka's exceptional performances led SFU to tremendous team success in two different conferences throughout her student-athlete career, including a Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) national championship in 2002. She enjoyed quick success on joining the team in 1998, being named a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) All-American in her freshman and sophomore campaigns, while leading SFU to the NAIA championship game in both seasons.
During the 2001-02 campaign, Kaczowka led SFU to an undefeated 35-0 record, earning recognition as the Canada West Most Valuable Player and national CIS Player of the Year.
Kaczowka's success is celebrated with her induction to the Canada West Hall of Fame, which was created in 2019 to commemorate 100 years of university sport across Western Canada.
