Wolf Creek Public Schools (WCPS) is proud to announce that Vicky Sahlin has been appointed as the new Principal of Iron Ridge Elementary Campus. Sahlin brings a strong legacy of leadership within the school, having served as the Assistant Principal since 2016
Sahlin's tenure at Iron Ridge Elementary has been marked by her roles as a learning coach, technology coach, and teacher, showcasing her diverse skill set and dedication to educational excellence. Her prior experience at École James S. McCormick School, Satinwood School and Leedale Colony further enriches her understanding of student needs and educational strategies.
"Sahlin has been a cornerstone of innovation and leadership at Iron Ridge Elementary," said Sonja Dykslag, Assistant Superintendent of People Services. "Her extensive experience within our campuses and her insightful approach to education leadership make her exceptionally well-prepared to guide Iron Ridge Elementary into a flourishing future."
Sahlin holds a Master of Education in Leadership from City University, an achievement that underscores her commitment to fostering an environment that nurtures both academic and personal growth for students.

Sahlin assumes her new role in the 2024/25 school year with the retirement of Maureen Schlemko.
