As part of ongoing efforts to support strong leadership across our schools, we are announcing several principal transitions, including the retirement of François Rémillard, principal of École St. Norbert Immersion. These changes have been made thoughtfully, with the best interests of students, staff, and school communities in mind. We sincerely thank François for his years of leadership and the strong foundation he has built for the school, and we also extend our gratitude to the principals who have agreed to take on new roles to ensure a smooth and positive transition.
We are pleased to announce that Christian Leclerc will be transferring from École Lorette Immersion to École St. Norbert Immersion. Christian brings sixteen years of experience within the Seine River School Division and has been at École Lorette Immersion for a total of seven years, including two years as Vice Principal and five years as Principal. His dedication to supporting students, staff, and families, along with his collaborative leadership style will make him a strong addition to the ESNI community.
Elizabeth Hammond will be transferring from École Île-des-Chênes School to École Lorette Immersion. She has been part of the Seine River School Division for fifteen years, including eight years as Principal at École Île-des-Chênes School. Known for her collaborative leadership style, focus on student achievement, and commitment to creating a welcoming school environment, Elizabeth brings experience and vision that will continue to strengthen the ELI community and support both staff and students in reaching their full potential.
