Wild Rose School Division (WRSD) is proud to announce that Jen Lefebvre has been selected to join the prestigious Google K-12 Ed Leader Fellowship. Jen is one of a select group of educational leaders from across North America, and the first in Canada chosen to participate in this elite program, which focuses on driving innovation and navigating the evolving landscape of technology in education.

The Google K-12 Ed Leader Fellowship is a unique professional development opportunity designed for forward-thinking leaders in education. The program provides a collaborative space for leaders to explore how emerging technologies specifically artificial intelligence (AI) and data-driven insights can be leveraged to improve student outcomes, support staff, and streamline school operations.
"We are incredibly proud of Jen for receiving this well-deserved recognition," says Dr. Jodie Mattia, Superintendent of Schools. "Her selection for this fellowship is a testament to her dedication to innovation and her constant pursuit of excellence. Having a WRSD leader at this table ensures our division remains at the forefront of educational technology, directly benefiting our students and staff."
Throughout the fellowship, Jen will engage with Google's education experts and a cohort of peers to tackle some of the most pressing challenges in modern schooling. The insights gained from this program will play a vital role in WRSD's ongoing mission to provide a future-ready education for all students.
The Board of Trustees joins the entire division in congratulating Jen on this distinction. Her participation in this global fellowship highlights the high caliber of leadership within Wild Rose School Division and our commitment to leading the way in rural education.
