The college, recently named a Top 50 Research College in Canada, is currently constructing a new expanded teaching and research greenhouse a $5 million project that will support the expansion of applied research that is prominent in programs like Sustainable Food Systems.

"Applied research is an important fixture at the college. It helps industry partners solve problems and improve practices, and provides exceptional hands-on learning experiences for students," said Mark Frison, President at Assiniboine.

"We're grateful for the investments made toward our greenhouse facility and the partnerships that support our applied research projects.
