During the March 24 Board Meeting, Niagara Catholic's Board of Trustees unanimously approved a letter to Premier Doug Ford and Minister of Education Paul Calandra regarding school board governance.
The letter was written in response to a similar letter from the Avon Maitland District School Board, urging the provincial government to pause its proposed changes to school board governance until a full public consultation can take place.
The letter was shared with the Premier and Minister electronically yesterday. It has also been shared with the following individuals/organizations:
