A new suite of exclusive benefits is now available for UWinnipeg alumni through UWIN Alumni Perks, a new digital platform and mobile app.
Available to all alumni of the University of Winnipeg and the Collegiate, UWIN Alumni Perks provides exclusive discounts for a variety of local, national, and international brands like Hello Fresh Canada, Rainbow Stage, Best Western, Lenovo, and CAA.
There are over twenty partners providing perks through the app so far, with more being added following the launch.
Kicking off on launch day is an exclusive contest open to all alumni until June 15, 2026. Alumni who download the app can enter for a chance to win an Apple iPad or a $1,000 pre-paid Mastercard.
In addition to unlocking exclusive discounts, the app will help alumni stay in the loop with the latest UWinnipeg news and events. With an increasing number of opportunities for alumni to engage with their UWinnipeg community, the app will ensure they don't miss out on any new events that are rolled out in the coming months and years.
"With more than 80,000 alumni worldwide, UWIN Alumni Perks is designed to strengthen the meaningful connections that define our alumni community" said Danielle Dunbar, Vice-President, University Advancement. "It combines practical benefits with new ways for alumni to stay engaged with each other and their university. There has been a lot of positive momentum in our alumni community lately, and this is another way to help facilitate that."
One of the app's standout features is the digital alumni card. This offers registered users' instant access to their alumni status, providing the full benefits of being part of the UWinnipeg community wherever they are in the world.
