Holland College has revised its Data Analytics program to include more training on artificial intelligence (AI). The change will help students keep up with industry trends and the growing demand for graduates with AI literacy and the ability to implement machine learning in datasets.

Students in the Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics program collect and analyze data, transforming it into user-friendly dashboards that help industry partners make data-informed decisions.
The Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics Post-Graduate Certificate is a one-year program designed for students who want to leverage their academic background and gain valuable real-world skills and experience.
"The College is well-positioned to integrate AI training into our Data Analytics program, ensuring that there is no interruption to our program delivery," says Holland College President & CEO, Alexander (Sandy) MacDonald.
"As more small and medium-sized businesses look to incorporate AI into their operations, we want to ensure our graduates have the skills to meet this demand," he said.
Throughout the program, students learn how to collect, analyze and present data using data science, machine learning and AI tools. They apply these skills to real-world situations during a capstone project with an industry partner, and they can collaborate with industry using the College's Business Analytics Centre.
"The program has been a win-win for students and our business partners," says MacDonald. "By working with a local business, students immediately see how the information they collect and analyze will help business partners gain a better understanding of their data to make strategic decisions".
Applications are open for our next intake in Fall 2026. For more information about the Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics Post-Graduate Certificate, visit Hollandcollege.com.
