Each year, the Manitoba School Library Association (MSLA) asks for nominations for three award categories.
This year, we are proud to announce that Heather Eby, principal of Laidlaw School,has won the School Administrator Award for Distinguished Service. Heather served as the Pembina Trails Library Consultant and on the MSLA Executive for a number of years.
She was instrumental in developing libraries as learning commons and initiating a makerspace philosophy. She is currently the principal of Laidlaw School and has been a strong advocate for school libraries.
