Chantale Goudreau stands out for her exceptional ability to bring the school community together through meaningful and innovative projects. Deeply invested in the collective well-being, she founded the Val-CoeurOn Club to promote student success and well-being by providing concrete opportunities for them to get involved in school and community life. Under her inspiring leadership, the club organizes fundraisers and activities to meet various community needs. These include a fundraiser to cover transportation costs and enable students in specialized education classes to take part in field trips, a suitcase drive to help children in foster care carry their belongings with dignity, visits to seniors' residences, community clean-up projects, and much more. Guided by Catholic and Francophone values, Chantale Goudreau brings together students and staff around purposeful goals that enhance pride, a sense of belonging and the overall school climate. Ms. Goudreau's outstanding commitment fosters a healthy, inclusive, and welcoming school environment where every student is encouraged to find their place and thrive fully within the community.
A key pillar in identity-building, Michelle Legault ensures all students develop a genuine pride in the French language and Francophone culture, while also providing them with meaningful opportunities to grow in Faith. Her deep commitment and love for teaching are evident in everything she does, including organizing pastoral celebrations, theme days, the Christmas concert, the Well-Being Committee, as well as supporting the students' charitable initiatives and extracurricular activities. Her caring leadership and attention to detail make her a valuable ally for both families and colleagues. In her classroom, every student feels valued, supported, and encouraged to learn and grow in a climate of trust. Patient and empathetic, Michelle Legault adopts inclusive practices and tailors her teaching to meet the diverse needs of her students. As co-founder of the integration of the Covey approach, she continually innovates to make learning more engaging and interactive, highlighting each student's strengths and achievements. Through her proactivity, Ms. Legault fosters a deep sense of belonging and strengthens her united school community.
"We believe in the importance of recognizing these exceptional individuals who, through their commitment and active collaboration, contribute to personalized educational journeys, student motivation, and the excellence of French-language Catholic education in our schools," stated Ms. Suzanne Salituri, CSC Nouvelon Chair.
