Located at 739 Horseshoe Valley Road West, the school features large windows that help to create a bright, natural, and welcoming learning environment for students. Designed to accommodate 570 students, the school also includes an oversized gymnasium and community centre, a result of a partnership between the SCDSB and the Township of Oro-Medonte.

"It is an exciting time for students, staff, and the Oro-Medonte community as Horseshoe Heights PS opens to students, staff, and the school community," said Dawn Stephens, Director of Education. "We are grateful for the support from the Ministry of Education that made this new school a possibility. We appreciate the dedication of the SCDSB's Design and Construction team, the hard work of all contractors, and the commitment of Principal Dianna Wright-Drzazga and her staff."
A sense of community has already been established with Horseshoe Heights PS families, as the school community was engaged in choosing the school's name, colours, and mascot, and had the opportunity to attend a meet and greet last June.
