The Board Trustees approved the appointment of Jacqueline Fernandes as Vice-Chair during a special board meeting on Tuesday night (June 9).
The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board (ALCDSB) Trustees approved the appointment of Jacqueline Fernandes as Vice-Chair of the Board, for the remainder of the term.
The election was held during a special board meeting on Tuesday, June 9.
Fernandes joined the Board in 2022 as a Trustee representing families in the regions of Prince Edward County, Greater Napanee, Loyalist Township, Stone Mills, and Addington Highlands.
Over the past four years Vice-Chair Fernandes has been an active contributor to the Multi-year Strategic Plan consultation process and is known to the community as a tireless advocate for student nutrition.
Vice-Chair Fernandes sits on several committees including; Food For Learning (FFL), The Food Sharing Project (FSP), the ALCDSB Friends and Advocates of Catholic Education (FACE) committee, and the ALCDSB Indigenous Advisory Committee (IAC).
