KEEWATIN PATRICIA DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD
KPDSB Celebrates EQAO Scores and Progress

October 5, 2026

As EQAO scores from the 2025-26 school year are released, the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is proud to recognize increased achievement in mathematics, reading, and writing at primary, junior, and secondary grade levels.

The Board credits students and every staff member for their collective efforts in making this progress possible. KPDSB students deserve tremendous credit for their hard work, perseverance and commitment to learning. We also recognize all the teachers, administrators, coaches, support staff, and behind-the-scenes staff for contributing to these incredible results. Staff work tirelessly to ensure optimal learning conditions are in place, and educators' use of explicit instruction and evidence-based practices is making a difference. Most importantly, KPDSB staff continue to provide the support and care that students need to learn, grow and thrive.

KPDSB's Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chantal Moore, commented: "The positive trends and gains reflected in the Board's EQAO results are more evidence that the work we are doing across KPDSB is making a difference. These results are not simply numbers on a page - the data represents increased opportunities, pathways and careers for students.  I look forward to seeing this growth continue as we work together to ensure that every KPDSB student has the knowledge, skills, confidence and opportunities to achieve their goals and dreams."
