UA is part of the EU-Green alliance, a network of nine European universities with a shared commitment to responsible economic and environmental growth and inclusive education.

UA President Françoise Grolleau and STU President Dr. Nauman Farooqi signed the agreement recently during IUT International Week which brought guests to the UA campus.

The mobility agreement allows four UA students to study at STU in Canada next year. In exchange, the UA will also be able to welcome four students from STU.

Students See the World While They Study

International exchanges allow students to see the world while they study as they spend a semester or full academic year studying abroad at partner universities. STU has exchange agreements with universities in 16 countries.

In announcing the agreement, UA cited STU's location in a bilingual province and undergraduate programs in social sciences and the humanities.

As well, academic areas complement courses offered at the UA, notably in Social Work, Business and Social Entrepreneurship, and Sustainability and Environmental Studies.

STU also offers a Bachelor of Arts (Aviation Stream), a program combines traditional undergraduate education with ground and flight training.
