Olds College of Agriculture & Technology is excited to unveil the renaming of two of our diploma programs. This update shows the College's ongoing commitment to remain at the forefront of industry standards and ensure our educational offerings reflect the evolving landscapes of their respective fields.
Veterinary Technology Diploma
The Animal Health Technology Diploma will now be known as the Veterinary Technology Diploma program. This adjustment aligns more accurately with current practices and terminology in the veterinary field.
Craft Beverage and Brewery Operations Diploma
The Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management Diploma program will now be known as the Craft Beverage and Brewery Operations Diploma program. This change acknowledges the growing scope of craft beverage production and keeps our program current with the latest developments in this dynamic industry.
For both diploma programs, current students will continue their studies uninterrupted. Graduates after July 1, 2024 will receive diplomas reflecting the new program titles. Incoming students will be admitted into the updated programs, ensuring they benefit from education tailored to the evolving fields. The transition to new program names will not affect student progression or the quality of education provided, with graduates equipped with qualifications aligned with current industry standards.
The evolution of these program names signifies our adaptability and dedication to progression, assuring that our graduates enter the workforce with qualifications that are recognized, respected and relevant. We thank our community, students, and faculty for their continued support and look forward to fostering success under these new program names.
