The Justice Institute of British Columbia's (JIBC) is pleased to announce the election of Dr. Stephen Gamble as the next Board Chair of its Board of Governors, effective Aug. 1, 2019.
Dr. Gamble is currently the fire chief for the Township of Langley. He also serves as president of the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs and the Fire Chiefs Association of British Columbia, and as a director at the Institution of Fire Engineers - British Columbia Group. He joined the JIBC Board of Governors in December 2017.
He will take over the role of Chair from Sukhminder Virk, a barrister and solicitor practising at Lindsay Kenney LLP in Langley, who will be leaving the Board after his maximum six years of service ends on July 31, 2019.
