The University of Winnipeg Students' Association (UWSA) held its general election earlier this week (3/6), electing a new executive and board of directors for the 2017-18 academic year.
Current UWSA vice-president student affairs Laura Garinger is the incoming students' association president. Megan Linton, Brendan Gali, and Morgan Brightnose the three other members of Garinger's slate, UWSA Connect were also elected to UWSA executive positions.
