It's not just playoff season for professional athletes. High school and college students in Sudbury are gearing up for their championship run at Skills Ontario.
For the second year in a row, Cambrian College, Rainbow District School Board, and Sudbury Catholic District School Board are joining together to form Team Sudbury at the annual Skills Ontario competition, May 6-8 in Mississauga. Skills Ontario is the largest event of its kind in Canada.
More than 50 students make up Team Sudbury, and will be competing in a variety of categories, covering a wide range of skilled trades and vocations. Skills Ontario provides students with a unique opportunity to compete against the best students in their disciplines from across Ontario, and showcase their skills in front of industry professionals.
