It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Jeanette Badovinac to her new role as Principal of EJ Dunn Elementary School, effective August 1, 2026.
Ms. Badovinac will assume this role following the retirement of Principal Darrin Olson, who will be retiring effective July 31, 2026. We extend our sincere congratulations and gratitude to Principal Olson for his dedicated service and leadership. His contributions to the school community have made a lasting impact, and we wish him all the very best in his retirement.
Over the past year, in her role as Vice Principal, Ms. Badovinac has demonstrated significant leadership growth and a deep commitment to both student success and school culture. She has led the implementation of several impactful initiatives, including a thoughtful and effective attendance support plan that has been widely recognized across the District. In addition, she has generously contributed resources and insights to support broader District conversations and planning efforts.
We are confident that Ms. Badovinac will continue to build on this strong foundation and lead the EJ Dunn Elementary School community with integrity, care, and innovation.
