Wolf Creek Public Schools (WCPS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Landan Stones to the position of Principal of Bentley School.
Stones has been with Wolf Creek Public Schools since 2016, as a teacher at Iron Ridge Junior Campus and Wolf Creek Academy. He has most recently been serving as assistant principal of Clive School.
"Landan's skill set in inclusion, autism and his love for rural school settings will make him a great leader for Bentley School," said Sonja Dykslag, Assistant Superintendent of People Services. "We are excited about the impact Landan will make in Bentley."
Stones has a bachelor of education from the University of Alberta, a post-baccalaureate certificate in special education and is pursuing his Master of Education in educational technology and design from the University of Saskatchewan.
"I am honored to be stepping into the role of principal at Bentley School. Joining this community, I eagerly anticipate building connections with the dedicated staff, students, and parents who make Bentley School truly exceptional," said Stones.
Stones takes on the role, as Mr. Lane Moore left the Principalship to pursue a new opportunity with Red Deer Minor Hockey in January.
