The Hanover School Division Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Debbie Stewart as principal of Bothwell School, effective September 2026.
Debbie brings 29 years of professional experience to her new role, including teaching, learning support, and school leadership. Most recently, she served as vice principal of Niverville Elementary School (NES), a position she held for the 2025-26 school year. Her experience at NES also includes 13 years of teaching, including six years as a learning resource teacher.
Before joining NES, Debbie held various teaching positions at Elmdale School from 1999 to 2012. Earlier in her career, she also taught at Oakbank Elementary School in the Transcona-Springfield School Division.
Debbie earned a Bachelor of Education from the University of Manitoba in 1995 and a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Education in 2004.
The Board of Trustees congratulates Debbie and wishes her all the best in her new position.
