"The high success record of our students in both their oral and poster presentations at this year's event is a testament to our department's strong dedication to experiential learning and the growth of our student research assistants during their time at StFX," says Dr. Hallett-Tapley.
Dr. Hallett-Tapley says the conference provides students with valuable opportunities to network for future career and academic directions, as well as allows students from Atlantic Canadian institutions a forum to discuss their scientific ideas and results with like-minded individuals.
"I feel ChemCon provides our students an ideal platform for practicing their scientific communication skills," she says.
