For the second straight year, St. Clair College's Call of Duty Esports team has won the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) Spring North American Championship.
The Saints traveled to Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida for the NACE Grand Finals this past week where they took on the best of the best in varsity competition. The top eight teams from the United States and Canada competed to be the NACE Grand Finals Champion across six different game titles.

The Saints Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 team entered the event as the number one seed and dominated group play with 3-0 wins over Texas A&M International and Conestoga College. In the semifinals, the Saints continued to run roughshod where they earned another 3-0 victory over regional rival University of Akron to earn a spot in the Grand Finals.
In the finals, they took on number two seed Cumberland University. In a gritty matchup, the Saints could not be stopped as they completed a 4-0 sweep on route to winning the NACE Spring 2025 North American championship.
Prior to the match up, first-year student Chris Waddell was named NACE Player of the Year as the top regular season performer who has proven to be most valuable to their team.
Rodrigo Armendáriz was named NACE Grand Finals MVP for his dominant performance over Cumberland.
