Mohawk College has become the Official Post-Secondary Education Partner of TD Coliseum, putting the college at the heart of Hamilton's most high-profile and transformative entertainment destination. Through the partnership, the college's brand will be prominently featured throughout the newly transformed venue during major concerts, sporting events and live performances, reaching hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.
"Hamilton is our home, TD Coliseum is taking its place as a world-class destination for live entertainment and sport that reflects the city's ambition." said Mohawk College President, Paul Armstrong. "This partnership connects Mohawk College to the energy, creativity and economic momentum happening right here in our community. It allows us to showcase the opportunities we offer students, while contributing to long-term economic prosperity and workforce growth in Hamilton."
In addition to advertising on signs and screens in and around the TD Coliseum, the official partner status gives the college access to opportunities such as branded activation zones during ticketed events, and the opportunity for students to participate in job-shadowing experiences at the facility.
TD Coliseum opened to great fanfare in late November 2025 with a sold-out, grand opening performance by rock legend Paul McCartney. As the new centerpiece for concerts, sporting events and family entertainment in the Golden Horseshoe, the celebrated building has also featured recent performances by Andrea Bocelli, Jonas Brothers, mgk and comedian Matt Rife and serves as home ice for the Toronto Rock. Upcoming shows include Disney on Ice, Journey, Twice, Ne-Yo and Akon and the 55th annual JUNO Awards in March.
